Welcome to the Under 11s! We play in the East Berks League Under 11s. The main objective of this age group is participation, while teaching the technical aspects of skill, ball control, passing, shooting, movement and most of all fun and enjoyment.
In the East Berks Youth League we play 7 a side mini soccer. This is now competitive but the emphasis is still on development and not winning, a view also shared by Spencers Wood Youth Football Club.
Training sessions are at Ryeish Green Playing Fields on Thursdays from 6-7pm during the summer. Winter training will also be at Ryeish Green under the floodlights with the day and time to be confirmed.
Spencers Wood Youth FC is a charter standard club and this means that all coaches should be at least FA Level 1 qualified, we have 2 Level 1 qualified coaches. The coaches have also been CRB checked and hold the FA required Child Protection and First Aid qualifications.
